If you’ve never won a race you’ve run
and have never set a record time
were you never able to jump high
or fallen at a hurdle before
still you must rise up and run on
for to simply try is all He asks
So rise up and run life’s marathon
for in Him do we rest and simply trust.
For Him we run, no matter the finish
For He loves even those who come in last.
Gold, Silver, Bronze - all will rust and tarnish
but a crown He gives to all who hold fast

won't you stand up and give it another try again?
